President and CEO
Founding President and CEO of Komunik Corporation (TSX:KOM), positioned as a market leader in Communication Resource Management and sold in 2009.
Alain Paquin achieved $100M in revenue within 5 years and Komunik became the fastest growing company in Quebec ranking 2nd in Canada with Profit 100.
He has been involved with strategic development activities and marketing at an international level since 1990 with clients such as the International Monetary Fund (Washington), Bell Canada (Montreal), the World Bank (Washington), the United Nations (Geneva), Boeing (Seattle) and many more.
He worked on the implementation of various information management projects for Desjardins and Société Générale du Golf de Guinée in Togo (West Africa), amongst others.
He participated in the start-up and growth of several companies in the technological, marketing and Internet industries including FokusGroup, Ardilog, Axys and NetClub.
Alain Paquin also taught e-commerce at the HEC (University of Montreal), spoke at several conferences and received many awards for the outstanding quality of his work.
Among other recognitions, he has been nominated for the Marketing Personality of the Year and the Arista-Sunlife Award. He also received a Mercure Award in 2001. He was the recipient of the prestigious recognition Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young in 2004. In 2006, he was recognized as the Personality of the Year by the Relationship Marketing Association. In 2007, he was voted CEO of the year by his peers at CEO Vision organized by the Quebec Technology Association (AQT). Furthermore, he has been named IT personality of the month for March 2008 by the FIQ, an important IT network in Quebec.

Chief Technology Officer
Steve Mathieu is the senior architect of the Whatsnexx technology. He is a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) and specializes in the technology behind the Whatsnexx marketing solutions. With over 12 years of experience in this field, he brings to the team the ability to use Microsoft interactive development technologies to their fullest capacity.
Steve Mathieu was the recipient of the 2005 Microsoft Partner of the Year Award in the category of Customer Experience. He holds a bachelor degree in computer science from the University of Montreal and has been the President of the Groupe d’utilisateurs d’architecture .Net de Montreal for two years.
He worked on the development and implementation of many internet solutions and award winning websites, including: Cirque du Soleil, MGMGrand and Gaz Métropolitain.
Vice President, Sales
James David is responsible for the development of worldwide sales and partnerships for Whatsnexx.
James is a highly focused, action-oriented senior leader with a solid background of over 20 years in the Software, Professional and Business Consulting practices. As a results oriented leader, he has a proven track record and remarkable corporate achievements and industry accolades in the disciplines of strategic planning, team leadership, marketing and sales, channels and partnerships and in building business development programs in Canada, the US and Europe.
James is extremely self-motivated and highly driven by challenges and corporate growth objectives exceeding stakeholder objectives. His unrelenting commitment to surpassing corporate goals and initiatives, plus his years of Sales, Marketing and Management experience along with a strong business acumen combine for immediate results. He also brings experience with publicly traded corporate policies and in the conceptualization and execution of Canadian, cross border and EMEA corporate sales and expansion initiatives.
Administration and investor relations
Fanie worked closely with the President of H.H. Brown Shoe Canada to assist with the Canadian operations before moving to Public Works and Government Services in Ottawa, where she acted as the right hand to the Assistant Deputy Minister (ADM). Subsequently, she became the Executive Assistant and Secretary to the Board of Komunik Corporation (TSX:KOM), a fast growing Communication Resource Management company based in Montreal. She has been at Whatsnexx since its incorporation in 2008, where she is the guru of Administration and Human Resources. On top of these responsibilities, she supports Financing and Investor Relations. Fanie holds a Diploma in Administration and Marketing at La Cité collégiale and she studied in communications at University of Quebec (UQAH).
Chief Financial Officer
From the banking industry to CFO of Locus Dialogue Inc., Micheline Beauvais has been working as a part-time CFO since 2002 for small Venture-Backed technology start-up companies, ranging from biotechs to internet ventures. A Certified General Accountant, she successfully completed her Executive MBA at Concordia University in Montreal.
